TRAILER: A Scanner Darkly
The trailer has just been released. It makes the film look more current and accurate to the book than anything I've seen so far. In short, this should be awesome. Philip K. Dick would be proud. Proud, that is, if this film weren't simply part of the entertainment-military-industrial complex's attempts to obfuscate what is happening by turning it into entertainment, making us revel in our own submission, and tricking us into paying for the oppression under which we squirm.
Scheduled to open: July 7, 2006.
Of course, I'm joking. I think.
