Heather Graham has to be happy about this.

What I find marvelous about this story of "Emily's" cancellation is that ABC committed to a huge ad campaign for Heather Graham's quickly cancelled series (in NYC you couldn't get hit by a bus that didn't have here grin plastered to the side) before they saw a single episode or script. Who is running the national networks. It's like when you mom hires the neighbors kids to mow the lawn when she's never seen them do anything but hangout on the front porch--then she's upset when the run the mower through the garden.

I still can't believe that a show like "Arrested Development" gets cancelled for winning awards, but shows like this get on the air through some sort of vodoo-agent magic.
